After a few days you get a hold of Elias and find he is the son of a Morrocan immigrant and a Spanish father. They encouraged him to study Islam since he was small. The more he learned, the more doubt surfaced. He knew others were confused as well. Though some were hostile toward questioning Islam, he had been raised that understanding is better than ignorance. Upon asking if he would like to see what the Bible says about the prophets, he readily accepts. You setup a meeting and ask him to invite others he believes would like to learn more as well.

The following week, Elias fulfills his promise in meeting you at the same coffee shop! Two other friends joined Elias. One of them, Ibrahim Almasi, was more interested than the other, Ahmed Naser. However, Elias seemed to clearly be a leader among his friend group and encouraged them both to engage. You modeled for them on how to read, discuss, obey, and share scripture using the Discovery Bible Study method. All of the guys agreed to meet on a regular basis.
