This page allows you to create a new field or modify existing fields.How to access:
- Access the admin backend by clicking on the on the top right and then click

Description
A Tile is a section within the Contact/Group Record Pages (e.g. Details tile). A Tile is made up of Fields.
Example Tile and Fields
This English Club Tile is made up of the following fields:
- English Club Pathway
- English Club Start Date
- Interests
- Topics Completed
The Interests field, for example, is made up of the following options:
- Receive Bible
- Discuss Christianity
- Join a Bible Study
- Put on Newsletter List
Build a Complete Tile #
How to access:
- Access the admin backend by clicking on the on the top right and then click

.
Create a new tile:
- Click the
Tiles
tab. - Click the tile type (Contacts, Groups, People Groups, Trainings).
- Click
Add a new tile
- Name it.
- Click
Create Tile
. - Give the new tile a
Description
- Click
Save Settings
.
Create new fields:
- Click the
Fields
tab. - Click the tile type (Contacts, Groups, People Groups, Trainings).
- Click
Create new field
. - Define the
New Field Name
andField type
:- Dropdown: Select an option for a dropdown list
- Multi Select: A field like the milestones to track items like course progress
- Yes/No
- Tags
- Text: This is just a normal text field
- Text Area
- Number
- Link: URL
- Date: A field that uses a date picker to choose dates (like baptism date)
- Date Time
- Connection: Association to another contact or group
- Define whether it is a
Private Field
, and whichTile
you wish to add the field to. - Click
Create Field
. - Repeat Steps 1-5 until all the fields have been defined.
Preview Tile:
Preview your tile within the Contact or Group Record by returning to the frontend. Click the icon to return.
Modify Tiles, Fields, and Options #
Modify Tile:
- Click on the
Tiles
tab. - Click the tile type (Contacts, Groups, People Groups, Trainings).
- Click the existing tile you wish to modify.
- Modify the existing tile as desired. Click
Save Settings
. - Sort the tiles and fields as desired. Click
Save tile and field order
.
Modify Field:
- Click the
Fields
tab. - Click the tile type (Contacts, Groups, People Groups, Trainings).
- The drop down is a list of existing fields you can add to your new tile. Choose from the list and click
Select
. - Change the field as desired. Click
Save
.
